The third hole is a dogleg to the right. The trees make it difficult to cut the corner. A solid tee shot will put you 150 yards from the hole.
A straight drive off the tee will put you in the landing area, 150 yards from the hole. You still have to make it over Jacob's Pond to the sloping green. It's important to see if the pin is up high at the back of the green or down low at the front of the green.
If you do happen to land in the Jacob's Pond, you can drop your ball and play from the edge of the pond.
The third green has a great slope from back to front. If you aim for the back of the green to stay away from Jacob's Pond, you will find yourself with a downhill putt and a beautiful view.
